Last day of the year

Today, in year 2008, I was in the hospital feeling hungry and cold as everyone in welcoming the new year. In addition to that, I have not taken dinner and bath and full of worries as I hurried home to see how Ma was. As I have intended to stay back to clear most of the work, I had to secretly took home some of the work with me. ... when I had to leave earlier than I had planned.

With that, hungry and cold with oily face and working clothes, I cleared some of work at the hospital while accompanying Ma. It was freezing cold for me to sleep at all and I could heard night staff having supper to celebrate the new year. Also thanks to my friend who drove all the way from her house to send us to the hospital and waited with us eventhough this party girl had a long night to celebrate.

A year have sinced passed, I am so relieved that we can celebrate together today.

As for my friend's father who is admitted to hospital today, I wish him well soon. It really reminds me what happened to me exactly a year ago.

Can't wait to try the mooncakes this year. Already tasted the Hei Yuet Thong mooncakes during the 'Hungry Ghost Fest'. I remember I couldn't get them last year and their green tea m.cakes were good but I think now, Bakers's ones are better !
