CNY-9th day Jade Emperor's Birthday

 The celebration started around 11pm of the 8th day to usher in the 9th day in wee hours of the morning.  First time having this joint prayers in this neighbourhood. The lion dance was delayed and made simplified due to heavy rain around 9 to 10.30 pm.  The celebration really started around 12 midnight when the rain finally stopped.

First time saw Chief Minister of Penang in real life ! His secretary was also there.  He also brought along his youngest son.

Lunar calender 6th day of first lunar month is the birthday of "Cheng Tsui Zhoe Si", hence Fussy M insisted of going vist the Snake Temple as it has been ages since we last visited the place. Stacks of eggs from the devotees.
