Kimberley Street

Kimberley Street has  many things to offer ; some of the famous koay teow soup can be found along this road, day and night ! Found this junk store unitentionally. Unfortunately it is closed on the day when I am equipped with my camera. The owner has many many antique things in his shop; to some antiques while some considered them junk ! I saw a few paper cuttings that he has framed up and hang on the wall, so he has been interviewed by reporters before! He must be well known for his trade, eh?

Across the street, opposite the junk store, I notice that this

2 storey pre-war building still preserve the 'antique' colourful decorations above its window while its neigbours' one are the plain and dull white wall.

Good work !

Christmas decorations at Times Square

Being one of the most / the most 'quiet' shopping mall around probably due to the economic slow down. But, I still think the layout is very good, the units is spacious. The units at ground floor can even be split to a mezzanine floor ! Despite the "quietness", the place is still very well kept and I see that the cleaning staff fulfilling their duties every day when I passed by on the way to work. Seemed like the management has put in a lot of effort to maintain the place well and bring in the crowd. Keep it up!! I am sure someday, when the goom is over, the mall will be a very busy place. (Oh no! More traffic jams!)
