Favourite Wan Tan Noodle

Although I find that the amount of ingredients is not as last time, but this is still my favourite Wan Tan noodle stall on whole of Penang because I can still find the 'original' flavour and the wan tan fillings are better than any other stalls.  Normally, there is almost 'nothing' wrapped in the wan tan skins but this one , at least I can still savour the minced pork; used to have water chestnut too last time !!  The sui-kow dumplings are filled with water chestnust and shrimps plus the pricing is cheap and nice.  However, due to the massive increase of cost of food, the seller has reduced the size of the sui-kow dumplings and the ingredients in the wan tan dumplings , cost-cutting effect !!!!  At least he has maintained the pricing at very reasonable price !   Actually, I have stopped going to this stall since last year because the taste was not up to what it was used to be and totally disappointed with it.  However, I decided to try again in the 2nd half of 2011 as I discovered that the 'father' is in charge now. So I have better faith with him and his skills and at least I am quite please with it now.
p.s. the stall has moved back one of the coffee shop along Carnavon Street ; next to the infamous fried koay teow coffee shop.

p.p.s.  This stall has ceased operations since October.

Penang Prawn Noodle

Seeing my cravings with Hokkein Mee @ Prawn Noodle lately, Fussy M made me some home-made prawn noodles.  But substituted hookien noodle with Maggi instant noodle.  Whatever..as long as the soup is nice and without msg, I am fine with it.
